Prompts!
Hello and welcome to the weekly prompts.
Because of work and school related issues this one is day late (and rather short) and I am currently thinking of moving the prompts back to the Friday next week to make it a little easier for me to upload the journals weekly.
Anyways let’s have a look at last week’s prompts.
The first prompt is ‘’A rocking chair’’ and the poem submitted to this prompts is called ‘’Ode to a rocking chair’’ by !LadyTana (https://www.deviantart.com/ladytana)

The first poem we will have a look at is ‘’A handful of dust’’ by !samshadeslayer (https://www.deviantart.com/samshadeslayer)

First of nice use of T.S. Eliot’s quote.
I like how the reader doesn't know until the very end that it is in fact a piece of paper instead of a person.
Very nice imagery and use of vocabulary throughout the en
New prompts!
Hello everyone and welcome to the weekly prompts!
We have quite a lot of submissions this week (I was just about the upload the thing last evening when I found that a new one piece had been put in the prompts folder and had to rewrite this thing c: ) so let’s just dive right into it!
First up is ‘’The Room’’ by !samshadeslayer (https://www.deviantart.com/samshadeslayer)

A very interesting piece that is up for the reader to interpret, what I think that has happened in this poem is that the person tried to commit suicide and ended up in hospital room, maybe somebody else will see something different in it.
